Themes and Discussion Topics: The panel speakers are Cristoball Marshall, a program manager in the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) Finance Group in Boston; Kevin Saunders, Associate General Counsel for ACCION International in Boston; Dr Guy Stuart, a lecturer in public policy at Boston’s Harvard Kennedy School of Government; and Linda Thomson-Clem, Executive Director of Microloan Foundation USA in Boston.

Background on Organizer: Founded in 2011, the Boston Microfinance Club (BMC) seeks to provide a forum for microfinance professionals and enthusiasts in the Boston area to connect with one another, share their experiences and debate issues in the global microfinance industry. BMC organizes events ranging from panel discussions to informal “meet and greets” and roundtable debates.
