MICROFINANCE EVENT: Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) Impact Forum; October 4-5, 2023; Copenhagen, Denmark

This event will address sustainable development via impact investing. The agenda offers sessions including: (1) Impact Analytics, Predictive and Optimization tools: What Does “Good” Impact Look Like?; (2) Designing the Future of Impact Management: The Who and the How of the Next 10 Years; (3) Designing an Investor Playbook for Impact Management; (4) Creating a Value Proposition to Scale Corporate Impact Investing; (5) Navigating the Impact of AI: Strategies for Achieving a Just and Equitable Future; and (6) Exploring the Intersection of Venture Capital and Impact Investing in Climate.

Background on Organizer: Established in 2009, the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) is a US-based nonprofit association of approximately 360 investors and service providers that have an interest in impact investing. The organization arranges gatherings, provides training and performs research in an effort to increase “the level and effectiveness of capital that is supporting market-based solutions to social and environmental problems.”

Cost: The standard fee to attend the event is USD 2,500, with discounts of USD 600 offered until June 1 and USD 200 until September 1. Discounts also are available to GIIN members, attendees from the Global South and representatives of NGOs.
