Cost: The registration fees for individual training sessions on November 4 and November 5 will vary by topic, but have not been released to date.  The Member Day on November 6 is free for members and nonmembers. The package price of the Global Summit on November 5 and the Annual Conference on November 7 – November 8 is USD 988 for members and USD 1,275 for nonmembers, however there are discounts if tickets are purchased before September 21.

Summary of Event: Participants in the 2012 SEEP Annual Conference will share innovations in financial services and enterprise development that build inclusive markets. As defined by SEEP, inclusion “refers to expanding both the participation and benefits of financial services and enterprise and market development far beyond their current reach.” The conference focuses on the following five tracks: strengthening the economic potential of the “ultra” poor, approaches to savings delivery, innovations in information and communications technology, proof of practice – understanding change and impact, and enterprise and market development.

Background on Organization: Headquartered in Washington, DC, the Small Enterprise Education and Promotion (SEEP) Network was founded in 1985. The nonprofit connects microenterprise practitioners from around the world to develop practical guidance and tools, build capacity and help set standards to advance SEEP’s mission of sustainable income in every household. Its members reportedly are active in 180 countries.
