Summary of Event:
The 2010 Small Enterprise Education and Promotion (SEEP) Annual Conference will gather microenterprise development practitioners to discuss the achievements of recent decades and future challenges and opportunities. Topics to be addressed will include expansion of financial inclusion, managing risk, monitoring social performance and increasing growth and social impact of microenterprise development initiatives.

In commemoration of the organization’s 25th anniversary, the keynote address will be delivered by the authors of the book “Portfolios of the Poor”: Daryl Collins, senior associate at Bankable Frontier Associates; Stuart Rutherford, founder of SafeSave, a microfinance institution in Bangladesh; and Jonathan Mordoch, professor of public policy and economics at New York University.
