This event offers two days with approximately 60 demos of new technologies followed by a day of conference sessions. There are also two levels of programming for startups – one for those still developing their business models and another for those ready to solicit funding – as well as a scholarship program for “underrepresented founders and startups tackling climate change, diversity, and financial inclusion.”
While this year’s agenda has not yet been released, session titles from last year’s conference included: Paving the Way for the Next Generation of Female Founders and Executives; Upping the Ante: Using the Science of Decision-making for Effective Customer Engagement; How Embedded Finance Is Transforming the Lending Industry; and Lending to Benefit Consumers and SMEs [Small and Medium-sized Enterprises] Post Pandemic.
Background on Organizer: UK-based Informa provides data, subscription and other services to 25,000 businesses worldwide. The company comprises three main business units and 100 brands offering products such as market and trend analysis as well as consultancy services. Informa’s Finovate unit held its first conference on financial technology (fintech) innovation in 2007.
Cost: Until May 19, the fee is USD 1,799 for the two days of demos, USD 999 for the conference day or USD 2,398 to attend all three days. Thereafter, pricing increases by USD 300 to USD 1,100 per person. Discounts are available for representatives of startups, government officials, and groups of three or more people attending from the same organization.
