MICROCAPITAL BRIEF: Jeff Flowers to Lead FINCA Impact Finance

The US-based, for-profit microfinance network FINCA Impact Finance recently announced that Jeff Flowers will become its CEO in January 2024. Mr Flowers previously worked with FINCA International, the US-based NGO launched in 1984 as the Foundation for International Community Assistance, for 17 years, including as the organization’s Vice President and Regional Director in Eurasia. He spent the last five years doing consulting work and serving as Director for Agriculture and Economic Growth at the Adventist Development and Relief Agency, a US-based NGO. Andrée Simon, who is stepping down as CEO of FINCA Impact, will remain CEO of FINCA International.

FINCA Impact Finance, which is partially held by FINCA International, is a network of 20 microfinance institutions that offer savings, loans, and other services to 6 million people across 40 countries.
