SPECIAL REPORT: Online Event: Strengthening Cybersecurity to Boost Financial Inclusion in Africa; July 13, 2021

The Midi de la Microfinance 53rd Midi de la Microfinance, held by Luxembourg-based NGO ADA Microfinance, will focus on cybersecurity as it relates to financial inclusion in Africa. This includes suggested “points of attention and concrete actions” microfinance institutions may use to minimize the risks associated with the increased digitization across the continent. The main speakers will be Sheila Okiro, Digital Financial Inclusion Coordinator at the African Development Bank, and Jean-Louis Perrier, Program Director of the Africa Cybersecurity Resource Center and Co-founder of Suricate Solutions in Luxembourg.

This event, for which you may register at no charge, will be held on July 13, 2021, at noon, central European summer time. The presenters will speak in English, with simultaneous translation to French available.
