MICROFINANCE EVENT: Fintex Africa; February 12-13, 2020; Kigali, Rwanda

Fintex Africa will cover financial technology (fintech) innovations in Africa, with representatives from over 300 companies and more than 20 countries. Vendors will exhibit developments in cybersecurity, cloud computing, data analytics and other related areas. The event’s target audience will be banking and financial technology executives based in Africa, though attendance is open. In addition to the trade show, conference sessions will explore financial inclusion, blockchain developments, data-driven banking, payment innovations and proactive cybersecurity measures.

Background on Organizer: Fintex has held the Fintex Africa event for the past four years. It also has a sibling event in the Middle East whose second iteration is scheduled for June 23-24, 2020, in Manama, Bahrain. The conference series was formerly known as Dot Finance.
