The goal of the Finovate series is to spotlight innovations in financial technology (fintech) from startups and established leaders alike. Two days of the event will showcase 75 product demonstrations. A separate conference day will focus on selecting technologies to maximize competitiveness. While this year’s agenda has not yet been released, session titles from the 2021 conference include “Harnessing Partnerships to Drive Financial Inclusion & Improve Financial Health,” “The Future of Digital Identity Is Now,” “Harnessing AI [Artificial Intelligence] to Democratise Home Buying,” “Decentralised Finance – An Emerging Alternative to the Global Financial System,” and “eCommerce and Post-Pandemic Priorities.” A virtual option is available.

Background on Organizer: UK-based Informa provides data, subscription and other services to 25,000 businesses worldwide. The company comprises three main business units and 100 brands offering products such as market and trend analysis as well as consultancy services. Finovate is a unit of Informa that held its first conference on financial technology innovation in 2007.

Cost: The fee is USD 1,199 for the conference day, USD 2,099 for the two days of demos or USD 2,798 to attend all three days. Discounts are available for representatives of startups and government as well as for groups attending from the same organization.
