Event Name: Evidence on Innovations in Savings and Payments Conference and Research Workshop

Cost: The cost to register is USD 100 per person to attend the conference and workshop.
Summary of Event: The two-day conference will feature discussion on results from recent evaluations of youth savings programs in Africa, reducing costs and increasing access to savings for poor people, behavioral barriers to savings and the adoption of mobile money. In addition, a workshop will held on June 20 – 22, 2013 for people from sub-Saharan Africa who have, or are pursuing, a PhD in economics, statistics, or another relevant social science and are interested in research methods for the evaluation of savings and payment innovations.
