This event is organized as three sub-events on decentralized finance (DeFi), startup companies and mobile technology. The Africa Money & DeFi Summit will cover technologies such as cryptocurrency and blockchain, including the development and protection of payment systems. The focus of the Africa Startup Summit is to connect startups with investors via presentations on topics including the UN Sustainable Development Goals, mobile commerce, education and health technology. The Africa Mobile Summit will examine technologies such as artificial intelligence, social media, “AdTech” and the internet of things.
Background on Organizer: This is the fourth edition of the Africa Tech Summit since its launch in 2016. The next edition is planned for September 2022 in the UK.
