MICROFINANCE EVENT: Mondato Summit Africa; Maputo, Mozambique - POSTPONED

Please note that the start of this event was rescheduled from March 31, 2020, to September 23, 2020, and then to a date to be determined in 2021.

The seventh annual Mondato Summit Africa will center on the theme “Beyond Access: Generating Value Through Digital Inclusion.” The organizer chose Mozambique as the venue due to the fast growth of the country’s financial technology sector. Participants will attend product demonstrations as well as discussions on topics such as “Optimizing distribution and access of financial services” as well as creating and implementing “Strategies for rural connectivity and access.”

Background on Organizer: Mondato is a US-based consulting firm specializing in digital finance. In addition to organizing conferences, it conducts research in the field. The company was founded in 2008 as a subsidiary of HIP Consult, a privately held management consulting firm based in the US city of Washington.

Cost: The cost of a delegate pass is USD 1,000 per day.
