Event Summary: With the goal of fostering “collaboration and co-development opportunities in the fintech [financial technology] sector between Silicon Valley and Latam and US Hispanic companies,” this event will cover topics such as mobile commerce, investing in fintech firms and digital currencies. It also includes the M2Banking & Fintech Challenge, through which fintech startups will present their ideas to a panel of venture capitalists and banks. The finalists will earn media promotion, and the winner will be invited to give its pitch to the entire group of conference delegates.

Background on Organizers: This conference will be co-hosted by M2 Commerce Latam News (M2CLN) and Frencuencia Latinoamerica, a pair of related entities based in the US city of Miami, Florida, that provide news on mobile commerce, financial inclusion and associated technologies. Frecuencia Latinoamerica has been reporting news for 20 years and organizing events for eight.

Cost: Until June 29, the fee to attend is USD 595 for one day, USD 995 for two days and 1,750 USD for three. After June 29, the rates increase to USD 695, USD 1,195 and USD 1,900, respectively.
