MICROFINANCE EVENT: LendIt Fintech USA; September 29 - October 1, 2020; NOW VIRTUAL

Originally scheduled to take place in the US city of New York, this event will now be virtual, focusing on developments in the financial technology (fintech) industry through a series of “tracks,” each of which offers about six separate sessions. The opening day offers tracks such as: Credit and Underwriting Innovation; Applying Fintech to Financial Health; Investing: Equity and Fintech Valuation; and The Fintech Lending Triple Play – POS [Point-of-service], Credit Cards, Loans. The tracks scheduled for the closing day include: Consumer Lending: Mainstream But Still Innovating; Powering the Small Business Lending Ecosystem; DeFi [Development Finance] and Blockchain: The New Frontier; and The Next Generation of Data and Analytics.

Background on Organizer: Founded in 2013, LendIt is an event series with annual forums in the Americas, China and Europe. The organization connects fintechs, traditional lenders, payment technology providers and other financial services companies. It is run by Bo Brustkern, Jason Jones and Peter Renton.
