The tenth edition of the Africa Financial Services Investment Conference (AFSIC) will promote investing in the continent with presentations on trends in environmental protection and sectors such as agriculture and financial technology (fintech). In addition to country-specific investment and networking meetings, the agenda includes sessions titled: (1) Banking in Africa – for Green, Smart and Inclusive Private-sector Development; (2) Africa’s Public Equity Markets: Navigating Market Opportunities in a Rising Interest Rate Environment; (3) Gearing Up Africa as Growth Sectors Drive Demand for Enhanced Infrastructure Development; (4) Harnessing the Exponential Growth of Renewable Energy; (5) Financial Services Technology and Beyond – Embracing Disruption; and (6) Impact Finance – Attracting Climate Investment into Agriculture.
Background on Organizer: AFSIC is facilitated by Jersey-based Africa Events Limited. In addition to this annual event, the firm and its affiliate African Investments Limited manage the AFSIC African Investments Dashboard and the Africa Business Opportunities Dashboard.
Cost: The standard fee to attend the event in-person is GBP 1,295 (USD 1,670) until the end of August, GBP 1,395 (USD 1,800) for those registering during September and GBP 1,750 (USD 2,250) thereafter. The fee for remote attendance is GBP 495 (USD 640). Additional discounts are offered to groups of three or more from the same company.
