Gary Ford has been named the new CEO of MicroCredit Enterprises (MCE), a nonprofit organization that distributes private capital for microloans. Mr Ford officially took the position on January 1, 2010. He previously served as General Counsel at MCE and as Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) Counsel to the Federal Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation.
“Gary Ford is the ideal candidate for this position. His former work with MCE, as well as his distinguished legal career, give him the breadth of experience to make a major, positive contribution to MCE,” said Jonathan C. Lewis, the previous CEO of MCE.
