Incofin Investment Management, a private Belgian company, recently became the fund advisor of Invest In Visions’ IIV-Microfinance Fund, which was launched in October 2011 to invest in loans to small and medium-sized (tier-2 and tier-3) microfinance institutions in developing countries [1]. Invest In Visions is a Germany-based firm founded in 2006 and specializing in “financing sustainable investments”. The IIV-Microfinance Fund is its only product.
As of April 2015, the volume of IIV Microfinance Fund is EUR 137 million (USD 150 million). The fund’s two classes have year-to-date performance ranging from 1.32 percent to 1.48 percent.
As of 2014, Incofin Investment Management manages eight facilities with total outstanding investments of EUR 350 million (USD 479 million) in approximately 40 countries.
