Summary of Event:
The Red Centroamericana y del Caribe de Microfinanzas (REDCAMIF), an association of regional microfinance networks in Central America and the Caribbean, will host a meeting with investors, donors and other stakeholders as part of XIV FOROMIC 2011: Inter-American Forum on Microenterprise, which is organized by the US-based Inter-American Development Bank. The REDCAMIF meeting will involve a discussion of the roles of national microfinance networks in the development of the regional microfinance sector.
Background on Host:
Representing seven national microfinance networks in Central America and the Caribbean, REDCAMIF was created to strengthen and promote the regional microfinance sector. REDCAMIF’s member networks include: REDIMIF of Guatemala, ASOMI of El Salvador, REDMICROH of Honduras, ASOMIF of Nicaragua, REDCOM of Costa Rica, REDPAMIF of Panama and REDOMIF of the Dominican Republic.
