Microenterprise and Development Institute – New Hampshire

The Microenterprise and Development Institute at New Hampshire University will hold its annual practitioner training course on “Double Bottom Line” approaches to microenterprise development (approaches that build both social and financial capital) from June 8 to June 20, 2009. Since its founding in 1999, the Institute, which operates in both New Hampshire and South Africa, has trained 800 practitioners from approximately 100 countries that work for organizations as varied as microfinance institutions (MFIs), universities, banks, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). The Institute offers three different knowledge tracks: Pro-Poor Enterprise Development, Microfinance or Community Economic Development. For more information, please see the following link.
To register please visit the MDI-NH Enrollment & Costs page: http://www.snhu.edu/5593.asp. Registration is possible for one week of courses or the full two weeks. A deposit of USD 500 must be paid within 10 days of registration. If paid before April 1, the cost is USD 1300 for one week and USD 2300 for two weeks. If paid after, the cost is USD 1500 for one week and USD 2500 for two weeks. Payments can be made via check, credit cards or wire transfers. Applicants will be notified no later than May 15, 2009 of class availability.
