Summary of Event: The Impact Investing 2012 conference will address ways for investors to generate environmental, social and financial returns. It will also include a debate on risk management and cover: measuring and reporting social performance; the impact investing market; the sharing of first-hand experiences of investors in microfinance, healthcare, education, environment, clean energy and social housing. The keynote speaker will be Lord Fink, Chief Executive Officer, International Standard Asset Management of UK. Other speakers include: Ms Penny Shepherd, Chief Executive, UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Association; Ms Susannah Nicklin, European Liaision, Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN), US; Mr Vinay Nair, Business Development – Europe, Acumen Fund, US; and Mr Abyd Karmali MD, Global Head of Carbon Markets, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, US.
