MICROFINANCE EVENT: 11th Convergences World Forum; September 3 – 4, 2018; Paris, France

Sessions at this event will address topics such as social entrepreneurship, clean energy, the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, and sustainable tourism and consumerism. While some sessions will be offered in English, the primary language of this conference is French.

Background on Organizers: Convergences is a France-based NGO aimed at bringing together the public, private and philanthropic sectors to promote the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and encourage the development of a “Zero Carbon, Zero Exclusion, Zero Poverty” world. The organization was founded in 2008 and has since grown to engage approximately 200 partners.

Cost: The fee to attend is EUR 400 (USD 470) for a 2-day pass or EUR 250 (USD 293) for a 1-day pass. Discounts are available for representatives of NGOs, startups and academic institutions as well as for people who are under the age of 26, unemployed or retired.
