Event Summary: With a focus on mapping “the new horizons of an industry emerging from crisis,” the mission of this conference is to acknowledge the challenges that the microfinance industry has faced over the past years and to turn crisis into a catalyst for positive and sustainable change. The conference will explore the changing role of the microfinance industry within the context of the global financial landscape, highlighting lessons that microfinance innovators can learn from other industries.

The conference will be hosted by the Microfinance Centre, a Poland-based association of 78 microfinance institutions (MFIs).
