The media and microfinance leaders will participate in a “candid, face-to-face” discussion regarding the portrayal of microfinance by the media. Discussions and workshops will be held showcasing new technologies and innovations in financial inclusion.

Srijan MFI Transparency Award 2010:
The award will be presented to an MFI based on the following criteria:

  • Transparency in pricing and product design
  • Financial literacy initiatives promoting transparency with clients
  • Effectiveness of communication and reporting mechanisms
  • Organizational systems and innovative practices that promote transparency
