MICROCAPITAL BRIEF: CGAP (Consultative Group to Assist the Poor) Seeks Input On Capacity Building For Financial Inclusion

CGAP (Consultative Group to Assist the Poor), a US-based nonprofit policy and research center dedicated to advancing financial access for poor people worldwide, is calling for interested individuals to respond to a short survey designed to clarify the demand for and the supply of capacity building services needed to advance financial inclusion.  The results of the survey will help shape guidance on supporting a sustainable market for capacity building services for a greater number and variety of retail financial service providers. Multiple forms of the survey can be accesed below:

Survey for Retail financial service providers: English, French, Spanish

The surveys must be completed before November 15, 2012, and participants stand a chance to win a scholarship for the Boulder Microfinance Training Program 2013. As of June 2011, CGAP reported total revenue of USD 29.5 million and total assets of USD 24.2 million.
