Summary of Event: The conference theme is empowering partnerships between banks and insurers. It is intended “to provide an enabling environment for key stakeholders… to brainstorm the future of Bancassurance in West Africa.” Topics include bancassurance as a financial system development strategy; the role of technology in operations and distribution; and prospects for and challenges of achieving financial inclusion through microbancassurance.
