MICROFINANCE EVENT: Uniglobal to Host 10th Annual “Global Microfinance Forum,” March 20 – 21, 2014, Vienna, Austria

Event Location: Renaissance Wien Hotel, Vienna, Austria

Cost: Admission to the forum costs EUR 990 (USD 1,350) plus a 20-percent tax. Interested parties may purchase just the conference materials for EUR 400 (USD 544) plus a 20-percent tax.

Summary of Event: This forum aims to bring together management-level stakeholders at microfinance institutions (MFIs), asset managers, pension funds, social investment funds and development agencies to discuss the trends, opportunities and challenges facing the microfinance sector globally. The forum will include keynote speeches, case studies, networking events and a networking lunch. Topics to be covered include: the impact of microfinance on small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) development, understanding the impact of the current economic and regulatory landscape on the microfinance industry, a customer-centric approach to microfinance and the current state of impact investing.

Background on Organizer: Uniglobal is a knowledge-sharing institution and event organizer that provides a forum for business leaders to exchange ideas, develop new contacts and participate in “informed, impartial and leading-edge discussions.”
