Summary of event: The theme of this conference is “Financial Inclusion and Emerging Markets Finance”. Twenty-four researchers will present their papers for discussion. The topics include the development of microfinance and rural finance; the roles of banks in financial inclusion; the impact of financial inclusion on poverty; and innovation in microfinance, internet finance, crowdfunding and seed financing. The conference is organized by the Swufe-Aberystwyth Microfinance, Rural Finance and Agriculture Organization Joint Research Centre and hosted by the School of Management and Business at the UK’S Aberystwyth University; China’s School of Finance, Southwestern University of Finance and Economic; and Canada’s York University Schulich School of Business.

Cost: The fees is GBP 80 (USD 116) for non-PhD students, GBP 40 (USD 58) for PhD students, and invited guests are free of charge.
