Summary of Event: The third annual San Diego Microfinance Summit brings together local organizations and global microfinance institutions to highlight both domestic and international work. Plenary speakers will include representatives of ACCION, Kiva and the California Association for Micro Enterprise Opportunity (CAMEO). Afternoon breakout sessions will focus on the different characteristics of microfinance and will offer networking opportunities.

The organization seeks to disseminate information about microfinance to institutions, individuals and the community at large. SDMFA also convenes the annual San Diego Microfinance Summit.
