Summary of Event: The theme for this year’s conference is “The New World of Financial Inclusion: What Role for Microfinance?”. It will explore current trends and challenges in microfinance and how it functions around the world through presentations and workshops on financial inclusion, technology, sustainable agriculture and climate change. One day prior to this event, Moody’s Analytics will offer free training on their Social Performance  Assessment (SPA) Global Methodology program, which is intended to help analyze microfinance institutions’ (MFIs’) performance in human resources, strategy and social outcomes.
