Background on the Organizer: The event is organized by IAMTN, an international trade association that aims to raise awareness of the importance of remittances. Members of IAMTN provide remittance services to private individuals and small businesses in over 90 countries.

Massimo Cirasino is a Senior Financial Sector Specialist in the Financial Sector Operations and Policy Department at the World Bank, an organization he joined in 1998. In that time he has represented the bank on a variety of missions and country study projects.
