Summary of Events: This rountable, organized by Nigeria’s Initiative for Public Policy Analysis will feature discussions on the challenges associated with mobile “e-payment mechanisms” in Nigeria and the optimal regulatory framework for Nigeria’s mobile banking sector. Roundtable speakers will be Initiative for Public Policy Analysis Senior Fellow Olajide Damilola and Managing Director of e-maginations Communications Sola Fanawopo.

Background of Organizer: The Initiative for Public Policy Analysis (IPPA) is a Nigeria-based nonprofit public policy research institute. Founded in 2002, IPPA focuses its research on “the principles and institutions underlying a free and open society, with particular focus on Africa and Nigeria.”
