Event Summary: The Arab Youth & Entrepreneurship (AYE) conference will focus on creating economic opportunities for young people in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The specific themes to be discussed include addressing gender issues and serving low-income groups in terms of job creation. All sessions will include simultaneous translation between Arabic and English.

Background on Organizers: The conference is being organized by the MENA Child and Youth Program of the Arab Urban Development Institute, a Saudi Arabia-based urban research and consulting firm dedicated to improving the quality of municipal services in Arab towns and cities, and Silatech, a Qatar-based nonprofit organization committed to generating economic opportunities for Arab youth.
