Summary of Event: The conference serves as a forum for representatives from the private, public and nonprofit sectors to discuss strategies for attaining the United Nations Millennium Development Goals by 2015. It aims to create synergies between all actors concerned with poverty-reduction strategies, with a strong emphasis on microfinance. It will also launch the Convergences 15 Competition for which prizes will be awarded to organizations that have a sustainable socioeconomic mission. Nominations for prizes will be accepted until March 25, 2011.  Sessions will be held in French.
