Cost: Tickets for the conference cost USD 150 with an early registration rate of USD 125 until October 1. The cost for Columbia Business School alumni is USD 125 with early registration rate of USD 100. The cost for students is USD 105 with an early registration rate of USD 80. The cost for current students of Columbia Business School is USD 85 with an early registration rate of USD 60. The cost to attend the reception only is USD 65 with an early registration rate of USD 40.

Summary of Event: The theme of the conference is “Engaging Customers and Clients in Social Change.” This conference offers opportunities for social entrepreneurs to learn how to engage and motivate clients and customers. Speakers from 45 social companies and organizations will discuss how to encourage customers to consider the social good and create demand for social products. Attendees also can attend break-out sessions and workshops about topics such as social media, sustainable food systems and green energy.

About the Presenters: The keynote speakers are Charles Best, Founder and CEO of DonorsChoose.org, an online charity for classrooms that allows donors to choose which projects to fund; Deborah Dugan, CEO of (RED), a US-based company that works with businesses to donate portions of profits to fund AIDS research; and Jeremy Heimans, co-founder and CEO of Purpose, an online organization that develops social movements for global change.
