Event Summary: Cracking the Nut is an annual conference that aims to bring together international development practitioners, donors, bankers, investors, policy makers and other rural and agricultural finance professionals to network and share information. Cracking the Nut 2015 will showcase best practices through the following themes: strengthening rural and agricultural infrastructure, expanding financial services to rural areas, and improving agricultural production.

Background on Organizers: AZMJ is a US-based consulting and investment advisory services firm that aims to promote international development and build local capacity. Its services include rural and agricultural finance, value chain finance, value chain strengthening, project management, and small and medium-sized enterprise finance and development.

The advisory committee is accepting proposals for sessions to be presented at the conference. These may be submitted by email to info[at]azmj.org no later than 5:00 pm eastern US time on September 5, 2014.
