Summary of Event: Organized by Asia Insurance Review, this conference will provide a platform to facilitate an understanding of healthcare insurance dynamics; examine how to strike a balance between providing quality healthcare and comprehensive insurance coverage, and tackling management and medical costs. About the Presenters: Mr. Ayandev Saha, Microinsurance Project Manager at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, will be delivering a speech entitled, “Extending Healthcare Coverage to the Poor Through Product Innovation.” Mr. Saha has worked at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance for nearly three years. He holds an MBA in Insurance from the National Insurance Academy, Pune, India; and an MSc. and BSc. in Economics from the University of Calcutta, India. He has presented papers on microinsurance at forums organized by Asia Insurance Review, the Asian Development Bank, Consultative Group to Assist the Poor (CGAP), European Union, Global Risk Forum, Munich Re Foundation, UNDP, World Bank and more.
