MICROCAPITAL BRIEF: Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF), Pakistan Microfinance Network (PMN) Launch MicroEYE Information Mapping Tool

The Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF), a public-private partnership, and the Pakistan Microfinance Network (PMN), a network of 20 microfinance providers in Pakistan, have launched MicroEYE, a tool that maps the competitive landscape of microfinance in Pakistan. The initiative is expected to assist microfinance providers (MFPs) in planning the expansion of their branch networks. It is also intended to help stakeholders understand the potential for over-indebtedness by providing information on people that have access to several MFPs. The tool may be expanded to allow MFPs to input their own data in the future.
