The nonprofit Microfinance Information Exchange (MIX) has released two benchmarking reports and one microfinance sector analysis report. The 2009 Peru Microfinance Analysis & Benchmarking Report was produced in Spanish with the support of COPEME, a network of over 50 Peruvian institutions that promote the development of microfinance. The report is based on 2008 data collected from 60 microfinance institutions (MFIs). The 2009 Bolivia Microfinance Analysis & Benchmarking Report was produced in Spanish with support from ASOFIN and FINRURAL, two Bolivian microfinance networks. The most recently released report, the 2009 Colombia Microfinance Sector Analysis, is the first report of its kind from MIX. Based on data collected from 18 Colombian MFIs, it analyzes microfinance by loan type and examines the country’s microfinance industry.
