MICROCAPITAL BRIEF: Microfinance Information Exchange (MIX) Releases 2009 Benchmarking Report on Eastern Europe and Central Asia in Russian

The nonprofit Microfinance Information Exchange (MIX) recently released the 2009 Eastern Europe and Central Asia Microfinance Analysis and Benchmarking Report in Russian. The report, produced by MIX and CGAP (Consultative Group to Assist the Poor), an independent policy and research center housed at the World Bank Group, examines credit risk, currency risk, funding risk, the market structure and microfinance trends in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, including the Balkans, Central Europe, the Caucasus, and Russia. The report is also available in English.

About the Microfinance Information Exchange (MIX):

Established in 2002, the Microfinance Information Exchange (MIX) is a nonprofit organization with headquarters in Washington, DC, and regional offices in Peru, Senegal, India and Indonesia. MIX provides detailed financial and social performance information from microfinance institutions (MFIs), as well as business information from market facilitators and leading donor organizations and investors in microfinance. MIX was founded by CGAP (Consultative Group to Assist the Poor), and is sponsored by Citi Foundation, Deutsche Bank Americas Foundation, the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
