The US-based, nonprofit Microfinance Information Exchange (MIX) recently re-launched its MIX Market website, with the support of Canada’s MasterCard Foundation. The new site offers more data on microfinance institutions’ products and now includes all content in English, Spanish, French and Russian. Arabic content is scheduled for availability in early 2010. Marten Leijon, executive director of MIX, stated that: “Now our users have access to three times more microfinance data than was previously available, with many new features that allow for improved analysis and customized reporting.”
