MICROCAPITAL BRIEF: Microfinance Information Exchange (MIX) Integrates CGAP’s Software Listings into MIX Market

Microfinance Information Exchange (MIX), the US-based nonprofit data provider, recently announced that it has integrated information on the software providers used by microfinance institutions (MFIs) into its MIX Market online database. The information is made available to MIX by CGAP (Consultative Group to Assist the Poor) with the aim of capturing a more detailed view of how MFIs support their core operations. The information can be accessed on the MIX Market via the “Service Provider” tab at http://mixmarket.org. Technology providers may also post their profiles on the MIX Market site.

About Microfinance Information Exchange (MIX): Established in 2002, Microfinance Information Exchange (MIX) is a nonprofit organization with headquarters in Washington, DC, and regional offices in Peru, Senegal, India and Indonesia.
