Appui au Développement Autonome (ADA), a nonprofit organization based in Luxembourg that supports microfinance institutions with product development, capacity building and information dissemination, has appointed Arnaud Servais to serve as its executive director. Mr Arnaud Servais has worked in the past as an auditor and consultant with KPMG, a Netherland-based professional services company; as the Chief Financial Officer at the Centre Hospitalier Neuro-Psychiatrique (CHNP), a healthcare center for people with psychiatric disorders and mental disabilities in Luxembourg; and as a consultant with SLVB Consulting in Luxembourg. The former executive director of ADA, Axel de Ville, will join the regional office of the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) in the Senegalese city of Dakar.
Financial information for ADA for fiscal year 2012 is not available. As of 2011, ADA reported total revenues of EUR 4.7 million (USD 6.18 million).

Founded in 1994, Appui au Developpement Autonome (ADA) is a nonprofit organization based in Luxembourg. ADA’s activities include developing new financial products, assisting in the capacity building of microfinance institutions (MFIs) and improving information on and awareness of microfinance activities. ADA’s capacity building services benefit approximately 400 MFIs worldwide. As of 2011, ADA reports total revenues of EUR 4.7 million (USD 6.18 million), which it has allocated to 5 departments: EUR 1.1 million (USD 1.45 million) to research and development; EUR 788,000 (USD 1.04 million) to capacity building; EUR 355,000 (USD 467,000) for information and awareness; EUR 1.37 million (USD 1.8 million) to building networks; and EUR 969,000 (USD 1.28 million) to forming partnerships.
