MICROCAPITAL BRIEF: European Commission (EC) Accepting Applications to Establish “European Network of Mentors for Women Entrepreneurs”

The European Commission (EC), the executive body of the European Union (EU), is accepting applications for organizations to set up the European Network of Mentors for Women Entrepreneurs.

The project will involve the establishment of networks of mentors to women entrepreneurs in at least 15 countries. These networks together will form the European Network of Mentors for Women Entrepreneurs. Each network will identify, select and train mentors for women entrepreneurs; identify and select women entrepreneurs to be mentored; form, monitor and facilitate mentorship relationships; and evaluate and report on these relationships [1]. Organizations active in business support or in promoting women entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply.
