MICROCAPITAL BRIEF: DIMOCO Expands Corporate Mobile Payment Services to Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo

DIMOCO (Direct Mobile Communications), an Austria-based mobile technology company, recently announced that it has expanded its billing services to Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo, bringing to 23 the number of countries in which it offers mobile billing services. Content providers in these four countries can now bill users immediately for digital content they access via mobile phone. According to DIMOCO chief executive officer Gerald Tauchner, mobile payment is becoming the preferred method for billing and making payments especially in Southeast Europe, which is the reason DIMOCO decided to expand to these four countries in particular.

DIMOCO serves approximately 583 million clients. The company currently offers mobile payment in 23 countries and text messaging to users in approximately 150.
