MICROCAPITAL BRIEF: Call for Proposals for Global Youth Economic Opportunities Conference, Hosted by Making Cents International, Washington, DC, September 11-13, 2012

Making Cents International, a social enterprise based in Washington, DC, has issued a call for proposals to lead breakout sessions at the sixth annual Global Youth Economic Opportunities Conference to be held in Washington, DC, USA, beginning on September 11, 2012. The deadline for submissions is March 30, 2012.

Proposal topic areas include workforce development; adolescent girls and young women; youth-inclusive financial services and financial capabilities, monitoring, evaluation and impact assessment and youth enterprise development. Proposals may be submitted using the form available at http://www.youtheconomicopportunities.org/overview.asp. Registration fees start at USD $675.

About Making Cents International: Founded in 1999, Making Cents International is a Washington, DC-based nonprofit social services organization focused on building the youth microenterprise sector. Through the organization of learning opportunities and networks, Making Cents intends to inspire youth, practitioners, policy makers and funders to more effectively share and develop partnerships, programs and policies that support youth entrepreneurs.
