It is our pleasure to announce the CGAP Microfinance Dealbook project, a compilation of microfinance capital market transactions. CGAP (Consultative Group to Assist the Poor) has partnered with MicroCapital on this initiative, which follows in the tradition of CGAP’s discontinued Microfinance Capital Markets Update.
Parties to microfinance transactions are invited to report deals to us via: online form, spreadsheet or by calling +1 617 648 0043. Compiled results appear below on a regular basis, with selected deals appearing in The MicroCapital Monitor each month. In order to allow the CGAP Microfinance Dealbook to offer a comprehensive picture of microfinance deals, organizations are also asked to report months during which they closed no microfinance deals via online form or by contacting us. The deadline for each calendar month is the eighth day of the following month (or the next business day if the eighth falls on a weekend or US holiday).
