Brief Description

AfriCap Microfinance Fund is an equity investment fund with the value of $15 million. It makes investments into the MFIs committed to commercial viability in the Africa.

AfriCap integrates a number of elements in each investment package, it operates with a model similar to the venture capital model. This means that, in addition to the capital investment in the form of equity, it also provides related technical assistance and advices. These additional supports are provided, both directly by the Fund Manager and through the extensive network of expertise available to AfriCap.
