Summary of Event:
This event is associated with the preparation of a special issue on microfinance to be published in the journal Cost Management, which is published by the Thomson Reuters. This special issue of will focus on cost management and social performance issues in global microfinance operations. The Burgundy School of Business (Groupe Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Dijon Bourgogne), which is part of the French government’s network of academic institutions, is organizing the conference.

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit original works, which are not under review elsewhere, for this special issue before October 7, 2011. Submissions will be peer-reviewed on a double-blind basis. There will be a preference for collaborations between academics and practitioners that offer practical recommendations.
